The Art of Living Abundantly

A spiritual retreat in Mallorca

from the 23rd of March to the 30th of March 2019

THE ART OF LIVING

“We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aids, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn…I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his day by a conscious endeavour…it is something to be able to paint a picture or carve a statue… but it is more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look….to affect the quality of the day, that is the highest art.”

– Henry David Thoreau

Living a fulfilling life is both a choice and an art. It is connected with attitude and with what we choose to give value to. I have spent much of my life exploring what constitutes abundant living and in the course of this week I will try to show that above all else, it relates to our having an open heart, a connection with soul and the ability to celebrate life’s depths with gratitude.

Over the course of the week, in a loving and supportive way, we will explore together how we can choose to live a life that truly works for us as an individual and in so doing, confront those of our habitual mindsets and patterns that obscure this process. The nurturing and powerful energy of the Tramuntana mountain range, where the beautiful La Serrania retreat centre is located, will be assisting us on our journey.

We will start the day with a morning meditation followed by a healthy buffet breakfast. Our morning group session will be a psychological and spiritual exploration of what fulfilment means for each of us and how we may best achieve it. After a delicious vegetarian lunch, we make time for a siesta before meeting up again at 4 pm for another group session. There may be some afternoons where we will head out to certain sacred places and do processes to help us attune with nature! After a hearty three-course dinner (wine included), we will either meet up again or enjoy the evening chatting and sharing. A key part of all my retreats is the group camaraderie that always builds up.

This retreat will be both fun and instructive and you will leave with many exercises and processes to help you carry on what you will have learned. My intention is that you leave refreshed and inspired and clearer as to what an abundant life means for you and how to start bringing it into greater expression. At the end of the newsletter is a video of a lecture I recently gave at a conference in St Petersburg, as its subject matter is very relevant to the theme of this conference.
